Great sound! I bought this for my wife, and I'm seriously considering getting a second one for myself. Decent. awsome price good product but doesn't charge Ipod Touch. Poor sound. I dido Scott Vaughn's review here. Not What's It's Cracked Up To Be. I wish I'd done more research on this product--it's the first item I've ever returned to Amazon. Quite satisfied with my iHome. I bought the iHome primarily because I wanted to have a speaker system for my bedroom. Not the greatest. I purchased this item to play my ipod at work. Perfect Sleep Aid. I think this product is fantastic. Great product!!!! I purchased this as an alarm clock that I can use my Ipod for my wakeup music. Unimpressed. Ok. Damaged. Unfortunately, I ordered this item as a present for my brother-in-law and when he opened it, the display on the ipod/radio doesn't work.
Nice features, but fair quality at best. The features are nice, such as: light dimmer for clock, sleep mode, snooze, am/fm radio. Disappointed 
The reason I purchased this alarm clock was for its gradual wake feature, but I soon found that this is not a strong point of the alarm. Excellent value, beautiful design. This is the perfect complement to your black iPod (or colored iPod nano, in my opinion). Look elsewhere. Our iHome is now just a clock radio as the ipod dock has a short in it after about 7-8 months of (infrequent) use. "Lull you out of sleep"? I bought this item for my daughter for Christmas because she specifically wanted a gradual wake up alarm. Takes a beating & would buy again. I have owned this product for almost 2 years now, it is the best alarm clock I have ever owned. Love Hate Relationship. What I love about the product. Wonder ITem. Wonder ful item get the Ihome and wake up to tunes rather thatn the buzzer. 5 Stars! This product is perfect quality, and just wonderful for use anywhere around the home. Connector broke after 3 months of use. The item has a defective connector.

Big as a cinder block and about as useful. I have had this thing for about a year and a half. Waking you up isn't it's only intention. Pros:-Wonderful sound quality (after adjusting my iPod Nano's built-in equalizer a bit), even in my large bedroom w/high ceilings. Finally, a home for your iPod. This little machine has it all. Ihome clock radio. Now have 3 of these units can`t be beat for the money! Caution: will not charge iPhone 3G. Overall, I have enjoyed my iH5, the sound is adequate but not amazing and both the backlight and volume control could use more fine control. Pleased with my purchase. The way to listen to your iPod when you're not using headphones. Looks like I've finally become a citizen of this century, because I went out and bought myself an iPod, which is something I thought I would never do--although, I thought this when it first came out and you needed an Apple or Mac to use it. Perfect for the Application. I have had this radio in my office for the past few months. 3 strikes and you're out! I am giving my husband a new iPod alarm clock for Christmas and his only criteria was DO NOT BUY AN iHOME! Good but ...... Overall the sound is great but the device has a few quirks that can make it annoying. IHome ih5 Clock Radio Alarm sometimes does not work. Love It! Great, high quality product, reasonably priced, and on time delivery. Great idea, but poor follow-through. The iHome iH5 Clock Radio is a great concept and boasts some good features, but has two very important downfalls: One, the display is way too bright, even when set on the lowest level. Great sound! Great sound, but poor durability. I bought this iPod Accessorie about 3 months ago and it already started to fail the dock connection to the iPod, sometimes it only charges, others music and charge and others, simply nothing. Don't waste your money on this one. The sound quality is poor and we can never listen to the radio without static. Love it. Great quality sound, easy to set up and use, lots of awesome features. IHOME DOES NOT WOrk WITH NEWER IPODS. I bought this Ihome IH5 a few months agao when I had an old 3rd genreation IPOD. Black iHome Works Great! I love my black iHome. Excellent product. This was purchased for my son who had saved up his money to buy an ihome in a store but found it here on amazon for less money. I Home for IPod. The I-Home clock radio is worth the money. Bad reception, no lights off, also a power hog? Reception: FM has a some static, but is tolerable; AM is impossible. Don't listen to these bad reviews! I am a pretty hesitant shopper and read some bad reviews for this product so I didn't really want it anymore. Good Value for the Buck. Compact, sleek and reasonably priced for what it does. Bummed. The iHome I purchased for my daughter for Christmas doesn't work. Great accessory. if you are big on caring for your ipod and having good accessories, this is for you. BURNING. The first time I docked my video iPod on this thing, it started smoking and smelled like burnt plastic. This product ROCKS! One of the best purchases I have ever made. Definitely Buy. A must for your I-Pod. The I-Home is the perfect speaker/radio system for the I-Pod if you want to stay under $100 and don't need a booming system. The happiest little girl. I Purchased the Ihome at an apple dealer for 25 dollars more than i should have but whatever you wont do that will you? Great idea, OK execution, but still no competition. I like my ihome - it wakes us every morning, and I like being able to use the sleep timer to fall asleep listening to my ipod music or a book. Great Accessory! We use it as the radio/ipod dock in our kitchen, and that's the perfect place for it (tho I'm sure it would be fine as a bedroom alarm clock).
OK, but could be improved as alarm clock. As some of the reviewers suggest, the IHome is OK but needs improvement in a few areas. It's well worth the price! Ok, this unit won't do everything for you, and the remote control that came with it is very limited as far as the functions that can control the iPod, but I have to say I am impressed for the $69 that I paid for it. Just the right amount of sound! I love my ihome! It does what I need it to do. It wakes me up to my favorite song, and it plays ambiance in the background. Good - but where do the hotels get their models from? I stayed in a hotel where they had these as alarm clocks. QUALITY SOUND - GREAT SET-UP. This is the second one I bought--great sound and love the remote! Super. If I knew then what I know now!! First of all. IHome clock radio. IPOD CLOCK. THIS ITEM WAS A XMAS GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND. Seems to be very cheaply made. I bought this from another store and took it back. It's an excellent device. Good Product, But With a Few Gotchas. I bought the iHome after recieving a Black Video iPod for Christmas, thinking it would be the perfect companion to my new toy. Sounds quality is nice with audio in/out feature; No preset radio stations. I got this ih5 product from target. LOVE IT!! We love this alarm clock and use it as a regular ipod radio in our bedroom as well. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. Don't waste your money with an iHome product of any kind - including this one. Nice product. I like the concept of this product but there are two things about it that bother me. As advertised.... My historical impression of Sound Design was cheapo Chinese, but this unit had the features I was looking for at a good price, so I took a chance. Great at first... breaks down over time. I loved this unit when I first got it over a year ago. Ihome is much better than most. i bought the ihome iH5 for my 16 year old daughter to use with her ipod nano. Ihome ih5 clock radio for ipod. I just got the iHome iH5 Black model from Amazon. IHome iH5 Rocks. I had debated for some time whether or not I wanted to purchase a clock radio for my Ipod. Okayy. the alarm isnt that loud and i got it for the mp3 purpose but so far i cant seem to have the mp3 player be my alarm. Worked for a few months. This clock was pretty well conceived in design, with a few quirks. Best purchase ever! There are so many features about the iHome that I love that I don't know where to begin.
It's just the thing for your iPod! I love this dock. Great sound, but beware of control quality. I have had this item for about 6 months. Good not great. Cons:This clock worked well for about 6 months THEN the circlular scrolling buttons stopped working well. It is OK... I am not happy with the output but I'll say it is good. It is OK. It's great! (But mine has a unique problem...) The sound quality of this thing is VERY GOOD, especially considering it's size. Turn the LCD light down. This review may be kind of short but i just want to tell those people that didn't read the instuction manual very well that you can turn the lcd light down by pressing the snooze button at anytme and the light will dim. Works great, but LED light is bright at night. I love the option of waking up to either the radio or my on tunes from my iPod, but the LED display is bright for those who prefer complete darkness when trying to fall asleep. Great Product... Great Price. This product was new in box, complete with all accessories. Love waking up to the music. I purchased this product for my boyfriend's birthday and we both love it. Almost perfect.
